Pet Blessings
/In honor of St. Francis of Assisi, pet blessings will be held Saturday, Oct. 7, at 8:30 a.m. outside of the Church by the courtyard(east). The community is also invited to bring their pets for a pet blessing at 11 a.m., at PetSmart, 1921 S. Broadway, Edmond. All animals and pets are welcome to attend with their owners.

Seeking a Deeper Relationship with Jesus – RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
/St. Monica welcomes those with questions about the Catholic faith and the process of becoming Catholic.
Meetings are held in the St. Anthony Room and are open to non-Catholics age 15 years and above, as well as those needing to complete sacraments. Practicing Catholics who are bringing inquirers are also welcome. There is no cost or obligation. For more information about this process known as the Rite of Christian

RCIA/RICA: Cómo ser católico: Buscar una relación más profunda con Jesús Santa Mónica da la bienvenida a aquellos con preguntas sobre la fe católica y el sobre el proceso de convertirse en católico. Las reuniones comenzarón el pasado domingo, 10 de septiembre sin embargo aun estas a tiempo de formar parte, estas reuniones son impartidas todos los Domingos a las 11:30 am antes de la misa de 1:00 pm en el salón St. Michael y están abiertas a los no-católicos de 15 años y más, así como aquellos que necesitan completar los sacramentos. Los católicos practicantes con inquietudes y preguntas acerca de su fe son también bienvenidos. No hay costo u obligación. Discipleship with the Saints
/A series called “Discipleship with the Saints” features presenters discussing fundamentals of discipleship as lived by some of the Church’s greatest saints – Monday, Oct. 23, St. John Paul II; Nov. 13, St. Francis of Assisi; and Dec. 11, Mary, mother of Christ.

Light Weigh One King

Light Weigh One King is starting again at St. Monica and is a 12-week Catholic Bible Study-DVD program recommended by an Archbishop, priests, doctors, nurses, nutritionists and Prevention Magazine for weight-loss and health, with no weigh-ins.
For those feeling a call in their heart to find out more, please come to one of the two orientations: Sunday, Sept. 24 at 9 a.m. in the St. Michael Room or Monday, Sept. 25, at 9:30 a.m. in the St. Patrick Room.
