Twenty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time

In this Sunday’s homily, Fr. Stephen Hamilton continues to reflect on the ongoing crisis in the Church and, in particular, the role we all must play in making reparation for these sins. Listen carefully for his detailed pastoral plan of penance and reparation at St. Monica parish.

Suggested acts of penance and reparation:

  1. Attend daily Mass on 5 consecutive Wednesdays.
  2. Fasting and abstinence on Wednesdays and Fridays.
  3. Make a holy hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament each week.
  4. Invoke the prayers of St. Joseph and the Blessed Virgin Mary (rosary with a closing prayer to St. Joseph).
  5. Invoke St. Monica.
